Weak and SickY

I guess it's time I've to raise the white flag to whatever virus that's got me. It's really horrible to have a fever with muscle aches and headache!

I tried to bear with it in the morning yesterday, hoping that it would just come and go, but it got worse.
Though I did manage to pul through 2 periods of E-Maths lesson, 2 double periods of both languages, I finally gave up.

Since Mr Ngoi was just going through the meanings of the vocabulary section of one of the practice papers, I requested to have some rest. He said I had to complete 1 summary which I didn't do. So eventually, I slept for 1 entire period.

The toughest period was actually English period because we had to complete 1 comprehension assignment. I tried my best to forget about the pain and discomfort and somehow finished it on time.

I really could not take it further, so I called for help. I desparately needed to sleep (I mean rest)! The muscle aches are so irritating that I just wanted to run around the school and do continuous jumping jacks to numb them and the headache was so unbearable that I wish I could just bang my head against the wall!

Dad brought me to see Dr Tan. I didn't want to trouble him since it's working hours. That's nice of him.

Got 2 days of MC. I hardly take MCs.

So I slept the entire day and night. The thing is, no matter how long I slept, I just feel weared off and tired. The medicine Dr Tan gave was quite effective; at least the pain and irritation aren't that intense anymore.

I'm suppose to have PW presentation and Geog. Elect. Test and Social Studies Test today. Oh, and I missed yesterday's Art assessment and 1-and-a-half hours of Chemistry Lecture.

DEAD!!! There's only 9 more days to the first EOY examinations paper, and there're actually 6 tests and 1 assessment this week?!?!

I'm almost fine now, but somehow though my fever's gone, I still feel the heat coming from inside and I still have muscle aching here and there and I get dizzy sometimes. I hope the slight diarrhea is not here to stay, or I have to see Dr Tan again -.-'''

Toddles people, I hope to be fully charged by tonight so that I'm all well to head back to school tomorrow!

P.S I've never posted such a boring post before. Probably has got something to do with the illness...

Back to my senses, I guessY

Thanks Dad, for giving me a day off. I really needed today to think through some stuff thoroughly.

I've never ever been this terrified. It's more sever than a life and death matter.

Well, it was quite a weird feeling to stay home all day on a schoolday. I wouldn't want to ask for another day off again, it feels like something's missing all the time and I don't like that.

I don't know how much determination and courage I have left, but only must I pull through this period can I come to a conclusion to give up.

Will I ever give up?
Hopefully not.
That's so not me.
And if I just cannot see no light, no possibilities, no meaning,
I guess I'll only be left with the last and final choice.

That moment will make me face this question again:
"Am I going to give up?".

3J Class BBQY

I just got back from my class outing at East Coast Park.

I've got to really praise Nazri for starting the fire. I've never ever seen a BBQ fire started so quickly! Like within 10 minutes of my arrival?

The food was great too! I've never in my life go to a BBQ where ALL the food is actually gone!

Well, it was a nice time sitting cosily together under the hut by the chilly, breezy beach. Though there was a lot of nonsensical question asked with nonsensical answers in return, it was a time when we actually sat down to talk about everything under the sun (or the moon for tonight). I did share with them my million dollar big secret I thought I would have never revealed. It's not a big thing to me now for I should let bygones go.

At this moment, some of them may still be at the very same spot, staying overnight or having a game of bowling.

3J is fun =D With so many nice people though scary they may seem.

I'm quite tired now. I still have to go to Sentosa for some observations tomorrow morning.

Anyway, I was chatting with BLim aka Benjamin Lim aka Benny the Boo Boo Cow and whatever random nicknames he holds. He told me that there's actually an African Idol going on. So I checked out some of the short clips on youtube:

The ugly and bad...

The Happy Rapper...

the ultimate winner for 2007...

Both of us agreed that even though they have this competition to search for talents, there's hardly any market for development there. Unless the rurual areas have technology then will they be able to afford and own a television set.

Happy Teachers' DayY

Most of us celebrated last Friday and I'm sure we will never forget how much our teachers have been sacrificing for us all these years. Youngsters, be thankful... a teacher's job is not easy, it's not just about looking at your damn face and having to bear with your sh*tty attitude, there're more to that.

Anyway, this year's teachers' day concert and decorations are quite different, I guess?

We've got the "Helium guy" to pump the balloons!
Some Exco members and vice-chairs of events and training comm, Peter and Rifat stayed back to do up the HOD room, staff room, staff lounge and the hall on Thursday.

We love to have fun while working together, but every time we do something slightly noisy or even just taking pictures, Mrs Tan will stop us... haix...

Well, the concert did run smoothly. I was the manager backstage, informing the performers the arrangements. Estee was almost everywhere to ensure that every single thing flows well.

I also had another role, which was the quiz master with Siddharth for the "Know-your-teachers Quiz". So it was a battle between the teachers and the students. It was quite an awkward scene when the DnT workshop assistant (one of the quiz participants) came to me to tell me that my answer was wrong. There was also a student who came to me after the concert to tell me that the other answer was wrong too.
Erm... all I can say is the answers were from Mrs Poon, the concert teacher-in-charge, and my job was just to host the game. Anyway, as said, it's just a game. It was really fun to see everybody discussing about the questions. It kind of comforted me while I was on stage for somehow I kind of felt that everybody's attention was not exactly on me but the questions. A very different sort of "public speaking" experience I would call that, because it's 10 000 times more informal than delivering a speech at the podium.

After which, the Maha Bodhians headed back to the holding school (campus) at Macpherson. I heard that they actually celebrated 2 days in advance.

So I met a few of my teachers, Mr Preston Tan, Mrs Angeline Pang, Miss Kwa, Miss Seah, Mdm Lee, Mrs Yew (Ms Kong), Mr Chee.
I didn't get to see Mr Rahmat, Mrs Dorris Ng, Mdm Wong Mei Teck, Mrs Song... probably many of my teachers had already retired...

And and and... MANY MANY BATCHMATES! It wasn't like the previous 2 years when we saw one another and just acknowledged their presence in silence, we actually talked and ya, it was like a family get-together.

Today marks the 365th day since I started bloging.

To Dear Bloggie, Happy Birthday=D
