Well, the concert did run smoothly. I was the manager backstage, informing the performers the arrangements. Estee was almost everywhere to ensure that every single thing flows well.
I also had another role, which was the quiz master with Siddharth for the "Know-your-teachers Quiz". So it was a battle between the teachers and the students. It was quite an awkward scene when the DnT workshop assistant (one of the quiz participants) came to me to tell me that my answer was wrong. There was also a student who came to me after the concert to tell me that the other answer was wrong too.
Erm... all I can say is the answers were from Mrs Poon, the concert teacher-in-charge, and my job was just to host the game. Anyway, as said, it's just a game. It was really fun to see everybody discussing about the questions. It kind of comforted me while I was on stage for somehow I kind of felt that everybody's attention was not exactly on me but the questions. A very different sort of "public speaking" experience I would call that, because it's 10 000 times more informal than delivering a speech at the podium.
After which, the Maha Bodhians headed back to the holding school (campus) at Macpherson. I heard that they actually celebrated 2 days in advance.
So I met a few of my teachers, Mr Preston Tan, Mrs Angeline Pang, Miss Kwa, Miss Seah, Mdm Lee, Mrs Yew (Ms Kong), Mr Chee.
I didn't get to see Mr Rahmat, Mrs Dorris Ng, Mdm Wong Mei Teck, Mrs Song... probably many of my teachers had already retired...
And and and... MANY MANY BATCHMATES! It wasn't like the previous 2 years when we saw one another and just acknowledged their presence in silence, we actually talked and ya, it was like a family get-together.
Today marks the 365th day since I started bloging.
To Dear Bloggie, Happy Birthday=D
