Today marks the 1st day of the 15th year of my life, that's 1999743.75 days gone, 47993850 hours spent!
Well, over these 15 years, I've really grown a lot and have feel and seen the difference. This year being the year I have to get an IC, I shall take it as it's a year for me to move 1 step away from relying too much on my family. I don't mean getting a job or running away from home, but just to worry them less, you know, that kind of thing. I've got to take care of myself!
Okay, today has been quite a day for me. My day was pleasant with so many people approaching me, giving me their best wishes and birthday greetings. 3 more gifts were added to my collection of presents, from Bernice, Hwee Ling and Kenneth.
Can you believe this, for those who don't know, Kenneth's actually in the same class as me for my entire life in TK and we both share the same birthdate! Hence we made it a point to exchange gifts every year. So I gave him to different types of "walking sushi" for the passed 2 years and I got him a very nice little toy-like wooden pen this year. Let's not recall about what he gave me in the past, this year, this "twin" of mine was actually very thoughtful and I heard he was having a hard time thinking of what to get me. Well, it's the thought that counts anyway =) Happy Birthday, twin!
You see, I've said many times that Sec 3 has been a tough year for me. To effectively solve most of my problems, I decided to listen to my brother (I'm not going on the bet, kor), to not use the computer for MSN, blogging and Friendster probably from today till the end of term 3 or term 4, or even after the 'O's.
This is the beginning... I'm not saying that I won't come back here, but just less frequent. I can always go to my friend's place to use the computer, which means it's not as easily accessible as it has always been. It's just a way to control myself.
So, another birthday, a new beginning; I hope life improves.
P.S Sincerely, I thanked all who came to me and wished me happy birthday today, or yesterday, or the day before yesterday. Let you know the truth, it's the first time so many people actually wished me well on such a special day. I'm seriously touched.
P.S.S Sorry about the word "actually". I realised I've been using it quite often.
