After checking the price for the items needed for the coming School Bazzar for 2G's stall, Clarissa, WeiLin, Sharmane and I headed back to Parkway Parade to check out the prices at Giant Supermart. As we were crossing the pedestrain crossing, this guy in his 30s, wearing a white shirt walked passed me and was glancing at me as if he knew me. That was in the middle of the road (you know you've got to cross half-by-half of the road to parkway when u want to jay-walk). The other 3 were like... hmmm, he looks familiar. Since I was sharing an umbrella with Sharmane, I turned to her and said rather loudly," Hey, isn't that guy the MURDERER?!?!" Everyone was like "Yah!Yah!" and laughing away. WeiLin turned back and realised that he was still standing behind us because he was like us, jay-walking, hence stuck in the middle of the road. According to WeiLin, he turned and walk half smiling half trying to look away...lol
Not knowing what his real name was, we kept talking about him with the name used in the drama, Dr Hu XiCun... which was hilarious because we were linking up everything in the drama. I began sprouting nonsense, saying that if you realised, every time when XiCun's up to no good, he'll take off his spectacles, and since he was without his spectacles.... Sharmane continued almost immediately that whether he was heading to murder someone else.
Anyway, ok, his real identity is Thomas Ong. WeiLin thinks he's hot. well, I agree that he's good looking, you know, that intellegent kind of handsome, not the naughty boy kind; as for using the word hot to describe a guy, I don't think I'll ever use that word for it gives me a feeling that someone's desperate, naughty and good looking, overall, not a very nice word to use for a positive description. And if you want to know what he looks like, here it is.
Ok, I've to give credit or MediaCorp will sue me. I got this picture from the official MediaCorp website and thanks to MediaCorp or I won't be able to find any latest picture of him that looks like the him as of today.
Anyway, I wonder how the private life of an artiste is like, as in well, in Singapore, artistes are much more free than those overseas, not having to hide from the paparazzi unlike those overseas. I'm not interested in getting into the entertainment industry anyway.
